היום יום ההזכרה של סבא שלי, אז אני רוצה לזכרו לנגן(=על בולבול טראנג) את ההמנון של ישראל(=ארץ הקודש שעלה אליה) בכלי נגינה שהוא בנה בהודו(: Um..these is for my grandfather rip memory, me playing his instrement he made(=”bulbul-tarang) in exile in india, its the israeli nation anthem.. *כן—לחדי הבחנה: זה כן הכלי נגינה של אהובה עוזרי p:
I have played “Awaaz De Kahan” first on Mouth Organ and then on my Flute. I am dedicating this song to my Dear Friend Prof. Zaidi who is a VERY GOOD MUSICIAN and a VERY WELLKNOWN Personality on youtube. Prof. Zaiadi plays Banjo (Bul Bul Tarang) and Synthesizer very very well. He is also a Very Good Singer. So he is a very versatile personality. Besides his high achievements in Academics, I admire him for pursuing Music as a Hobby just like I am doing. Prof Zaidi’s comments are very comprehensive and he has often given me valuable hints which has helped me in improving my vocal renditions. I hope Prof. Zaidi likes my 2 Tunes. Please let me know which version you liked the most : Mouth Organ or Flute. This song (a duet) is based on Raga Pahadi and in original version was superbly sung by Melody Queen of yesteryears none other than Noor Jehan and Singer Surendra. Music was set to tune by Maestro Naushad. This was Noorjehan’s most favorite song. Super Music Director Naushad concieved this song in his Dreams and made it IMMORTAL in the Voice of Noor Jehan with Singer Surendra. This song is from the Film Anmol Ghadi which was a superhit Film released in 1946 just before Noor Jehan left for Pakistan in 1947. Please let me know which version you liked the most : Mouth Organ or Flute. I found it very difficult to play this song on Mouth Organ compared to playing on Flute which was relatively easy. Please rate my performance and I will appreciate your valuable comment. Thanks and Regards, Dr. Kamath
